Meteos for Nintendo DS

I have to honestly say, this is one of the best DS games I've ever played.

Meteos is basically a puzzle game. Think Tetris...only a whole lot faster and a whole lot crazier...okay, maybe it's not like Tetris at all.

In Meteos, it looks like this:

The goal is to line up three to five of the same blocks either horizontally or vertically. You can only move blocks up and down in the column they fell in. This game relies on fast paced, quick thinking maneuvers. If you aren't fast enough to find where you can launch the meteos, it's annihilation for you!

The control is simple enough to learn, as everything is controlled by the touch screen. Just touch the meteo you want to move and slide it up or down and it goes to that position.

Things during the game make it more enjoyable too. For one, items will fall down that you can use to help yourself, or even harm the other players!

And second, well why are you tossing the meteos off the screen?
To mess with other players. When you launch meteos off, they go to another player as burnt meteos, those cannot be connected to launch, but will turn back into regular ones soon.

The music in this game is amazing. Every planet has there own set that plays there. Three sets play depending on the level of meteos.

See here for those sets: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p ... 29F7ABFF43 (http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=00D73629F7ABFF43)

Also every time you launch some meteos a sound effect will play, it all goes together very well.

And believe me, this game will want you to keep coming back to play it. And not just because the gameplay is so addicting!

There are several different planets for you to play on, all with a different gravity around them(i.e. some will launch instantaneously, while others only go up a set amount.) Each has they're own look, own small bio, and any other small detail you can think off.

Launching meteos off the screen is not just helpful in the match itself, it will allow you to fuse new things, such as planets, items, Rare Metals(with is Soul and Time, rare meteos that appear and are used for fusing) and sounds.

There is a Star Trip mode, which is basically the equivalent of story mode. In this mode, you go to a bunch of random planets(including ones you don't have so it is nice if you want to play on a planet you don't have yet). You can get many different endings for this mode, and it's three different ways of playing.

If I missed anything, it doesn't matter because all I said is all that is needed to say how this game is awesome.

Score: 9.9/10 just because every game has flaws, even if you can't see them.

Review review
+ Nice, clean review
+ Covered all aspects...

- ... Though it was a bit short, try to go more in depth
- A bit messy (In wording) in places

Not a bad review though! :)
