It is, always has been. Founded by two Canadian doctors in Edmonton, Alberta with the original intent to develop medical software. That didn't pan out, so they turned to games. :D

Pretty well any, of both. Usually beef gravy would be used on poutine, since it's often bought from burger places. As for cheese the traditional is mozza curds (little chunks), however most any type will do. I've had grated cheddar, mozza and even feta, though I would not recommend the jarred nacho or wizz varieties.

I've never seen any Aero, but If I say there isn't one I'm sure the next time I go shopping there will be one.

Also since Gwellin is eating crazy feta poutine, try throwing some bacon bits in there for yummy heart clogging results.

Gwellin

Most all poutine variations I've had tastes better than anything on McDonald's menu.

Poutine is salted gravy with potentially salty cheese, over fries, so it's obviously not terribly healthy.

And whitemage730, I love you but ugh, please don't mention poutine - that stuff is NASTY! _dead_

Shhhhh don't let Gwellin hear you =x

For anyone that didn't see the other post by Gwellin, The medal is indeed gone now. It has been replaced with the flag icon you can set in your profile.

It's great to see so many Canadians showing up though :D

So all you need are some fries and gravy and there you have a poutine!

That's another thing that's in abundance over here. _awesome_
Well, that and Beaver Tails.
Mm... those are so good, but so bad for you.
Even just the regular cinnamon + sugar ones.

How you diggin' it so far? I know Toronto gets something of a bum rap, but at the end of the day, I really do love this city.

I demand that Baltes recieve the honorary medal.
You're not Canadian so you don't have a word in this :P

Yeah, Indianapolis Jones! Baltes is cool but he has not gone through the Canadian initiation. He has to mine for gold in the Yukon, catch hypothermia in NW territories, ride on Steven Harper's boat in Nunavut, help drug addicts in BC, dig in the oil sands of Alberta, get caught in a Tornado in Saskatchewan, do... something in Manitoba..., go to anime north in Ontario, get checked into the boards playing hockey in Quebec, smuggle rum across the Newfoundland/St. Pierre Et Miquelon border in a speedboat, farm potatoes on Prince Edward Island, ride the freefall on Magic Mountain in New Brunswick, and go off the rails on the Swazy Express in Nova Scotia.
