Aww, it's not going to be the same if they replace all the voice actors. I'm just now getting used to the new Pokemon VAs and they've been doing it for a few seasons now.

Couldn't reach salary demands? Why must rich people insist on being richer? It's just... ugh.

I love Futurama and i was super happy when they decided to revive this serious but the fact they are getting new voice actors is just plain disappointing.

WHY do they think this is a good idea? It's going to be too hard getting used to the new voices...

I think there just doing it because 20th century Fox wants to make as much money possible. So to do that they get rid of the voice actors and higher amateurs who come at a fraction of the cost. It's just executives getting greedy and not thinking about the fans.

They are replacing ALL of them!? I thought just a few that wouldn't do it.

No more classic Zoidberg? No more Rubberducky.

This is just wrong, they won't pay these voice actors what they want, but the Voice actor for Homer Simpson make all most twice as much of what they are asking for.....Fox is going down hill.

That article is jumping the gun. Fox is obviously doing this as a power play to get the cast to lower their salary demands, because since the show is airing on Comedy Central instead of Fox it has to have serious budget cuts from network tv to cable. The voice actors obviously will not want to see the show drop off in quality and especially Billy West loves it too much to let it go out that way. The Simpsons did the exact same thing ten or fifteen years ago when the contracts came up. New deals were written and everyone took a pay cut.

Trust me, Futurama will not happen without West, Segal, and DiMaggio.

no more Billy West (Fry, Professor, and Ziodberg), Katey Sagal (Leela), John DiMaggio (Bender), Maurice LaMarche (Kif Kroker, among others), or Tress MacNeil (Mom, and several others).

well you might as well cancel the darn thing

The voice of Homer Simpson plays Homer Simpson. Hard not to get a good pay check. :?

As well as Krusty, Groundskeeper Willie, Arnie Pie, Barney and many of the generic characters. He also played Earthworm Jim in the animated series.

Makes since but I don't trust Fox. To me it sounds like they only want to pay minimum wage for the voice acting and I can only hope that the actors would be willing to take a hit. If Fox was smart the would realize that where this series really made it's money was from the DVD sales and if they got rid of the stars those profits would vanish. But again like Phil said they probably are just trying to drive the price down for Cable and so they can pocket more profit for themselves.

It's not about profit. The show is being aired on Comedy Central, whose budgets are significantly less than primetime networks like Fox. They HAVE to lower the voice actor's pay or the show couldn't be made at all.

Owha! Lame duck! >=(
I don't get Comedy Central anymore thanks to my odd satellite programming so I wont have the chance to suffer this change anyways. But still, Lame!

Bummer. :| Well, hopefully the new VA's won't be too bad. It's still a shame, though.

Yeah after I thought about it this does make more sense than what I said.

Thank goodness. I'm officially stoked for the new episodes now. And as a bonus there apparently gonna make "an upcoming feature film". I can't wait for this.

You aren't doing it right. Usually when Farnsworth says "GOOD NEWS, everyone!" it's not good news at all.

That's great to know, though after reading Phil's post it seemed obvious that this would happen. >.>

Yeah, I just heard about this - suffice to say, I am relieved and ecstatic. Let's just hope the writing retains the same great quality as well.
