    In a perfect world....

What games would you like to see be turned into a movie? Now in this perfect world video games get made into 5 star movies rather than the garbage we get served up now. Feel free to name actors to star in the movies if you want.

I would love to see Batman: Arkham Asylum and possibly Arkham City be turned into movies instead of the franchise being rebooted with another origin story or another story that only focuses on the Joker. I think if they worked with Paul Dini they could successfully adapt these two games to the big screen without losing any of the source materials major plot details.

A game that also looks like it and plays like it was made to be adapted into a movie is Heavy Rain. The game plays like an interactive movie and has so many different paths depending on how you play and the decisions you make. I can hear people saying now "You can't adapt a game that has 30 different endings and on any given play through you can have which characters die differ." Well this is where I think it has a huge selling point. They could create 5 or so different movies that are essentially the same but the characters who live differ and the endings differ. If the movie was a hit people would want to go back and see it in the hope of getting new endings and it would be a really cool thing if done correctly.

Not removing this until we have a Ratchet & Clank marathon! We must fight against the tyrannical dictatorship that Mario and Zelda have over TSG!

StarCraft the movie XD Most people know me for being the only mutiplayer never storyline player that I am but I wouldnt mind an awesome Starcraft movie. I would watch that for sure! There are other games I would like to see as a movie but I think StarCraft would probably be the most exciting to watch.

I would love to see a Golden Sun movie/trilogy.
Get the amount of detail and love put into it similar to the Lord of the Rings movies would be ideal.

I would also enjoy a movie for Metroid

Metroid, if this perfect world contained none of the people who did the story for other m on the team making the movie.

Also Warcraft, I don't think the games are the best but I think they could make the story into a lord of the rings type epic.

    I enjoyed Other M.
I knew the story from the manga before playing too though.
I think it would work well if it was an origin story of Samus.
They would definitely need to find a better voice/actress for it though

This. Although they shouldn't be anywhere close to as long as the LotR movies.

I'd also love to see an Uncharted movie (yes, I know there is one in development hell right now), an Infamous movie, and a Final Fantasy VIII movie (I believe it would be the easiest FF game to adapt into a movie).

    Re: In a perfect world....

I'd love to see a Halo movie. Well, a big one, like a trilogy with Halo 1, 2, and 3. It could easily be done by the people making Way to Dawn currently, and that's practically already a Halo movie. If you get the Limited Edition, that movie will have 30 extra minutes in it, so that makes it 90 minutes, it's already a film with a professional crew and actors!

Another one would probably be a Street Fighter movie, done right. Super Street Fighter 4 to be exact, with Ken and Ryu as the main characters and it alternates between their viewpoints. Street Fighter itself has a decent plot in SSF4 and if they got someone who knows decent fighting choreography, it wouldn't be too hard. Wait, no, give the movie to Thousand Pounds to make, but give them a budget and a professional cast.
