Self-explanatory. Go.
Mine is Vulpix, although I admit there might be some Gen1 nostalgia in there. And it's mostly aesthetics based, since I think it looks really cute.![]()

Pokemon X and Y Friend Safari - Type: Electric, Pokemon: Pachirisu, Electabuzz and Zebstrika.
Why Eelektross?
-It's a fish that's not Water.
-It's gonna wreck in sky battles.
-It looks like it can be used at a rope to latch onto a helicopter like a badass.
-Two draining moves. Potentially four in gen 6.
-Type coverage everywhere.
-No weakness.
-It's adorable as hell and I want one as a pet so I can take it for walks.
honorable mentions:
2. Xatu - It just looks cool.
3. Parasect - It's based off fungus zombifying bugs, which really happens and that's awesome.
4. Linoone - Again, it just looks cool.
5. Empoleon - See above.
6. Golurk - FLY.
Patrat. Not really sure why.
Honorable mentions: Mankey, Samurott, Emboar, Tropius, Magmar.
Starmie. Don't really have a reason as to why other than "it's awesome". Honorable mentions include Tentacruel, Excadrill, Volcarona, Eelektross, and Azurill.
Scrafty. I just like the fellow. And to follow suit, my honorable mention is Kingler, Nidoking, Glalie, Salamence, Infernape, Scizor, Ferrothorn, and Golurk. I had a harder time narrowing those down.

I'm not really sure about one definite favourite but the first that comes to mind is Mudkip. I'd consider Bidoof somewhere in the top 5.
Swoobat. Originally, I didn't care for it much, but it's grown on me and managed to work its way all the way up to being my favorite Pokemon. I just find it completely adorable now and it just seems like a Pokemon that suits me pretty well.
Plus, I also love it's Pokedex entry in White:
Ability to create ultrasonic waves which can make people happier? That's a pretty nifty ability and would be a power I'd love to have. Granted, as the entry says, it's kinda... conditional, but still! xDAnyone who comes into contact with the ultrasonic waves emitted by a courting male experiences a positive mood shift.
In any case, yeah, I've pretty much grown to <3 the thing~ :D

My favourite little monster is this guy right here. He's adorable and better yet becomes Charizard

Tough question. I'm quite partial to Umbreon, though mostly aesthetically. When it comes to team based, power based type pokemon, I'd have to go with Emboar maybe.... I don't know. It's so hard to choose!
My favorite Pokemon is Sceptile, mainly because I like its design, and it was so cool in the anime. Swellow and Krokorok are my 2nd and 3rd favorites, also for aesthetic reasons (Guts Swellow is fun to use, too).
My favorite ones to actually use in battle are probably Infernape and Breloom, the former because of it's versatility as a physical and special attacker, and the latter because it is equal parts annoying and overpowering for its opponents. Honorable mention to Vaporeon, Starmie, Gliscor, and Scrafty.
