I really would like to see one for Multiple sclerosis. I have a family member who has it, and it seems like every time I see him he's gotten worse.....

And I am happy to see something for autism comming up! I've got people in my family with that, including myself.((though I have a real hight functioning form of it, but still))

I second (third?) the animal charities and world hunger.

I would also love to see a marathon for lymphoma; someone in my graduating class was diagnosed a week before the ceremony.

St. Jude's is an amazing hospital to donate to.

Also, let me speak as an Arkansan for a moment.

Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock is one of the most amazing hospitals in the nation. They have the nation's best burn victim unit and get medflight units there all over the nation on a daily basis. They also provide free care for those that cannot pay for their services thanks to donations from charities.

They allow care for anybody until they are of the age of 21, unless they have previously been in Arkansas Children's, which of course they then allow them to come and go as they please.

I personally have had a wonderful experience with them. My younger brother (who doesn't live with me), was in a horrible 4-wheeler accident and an entire chunk of his knee muscle was literally on the side of the road. He was flown to children's, where he was given emergency care. They charged only what his father could afford, which is great considering that he doesn't make much.

It's an amazing group that I think would deserve attention.

Well, it's not saving people's lives, but it is a cause I believe in strongly. I may be a little biased about this one, but it would be amazing if we ever did anything for Save The Music Foundation. Goodness knows our music programs need all the help they can get with so many getting cut because of the economy.
